Awarded Summary
PQ-23-18, PREQUALIFICATION OF WINDOW CONTRACTORS FOR YORK REGIONAL POLICE 5 DISTRICT LOCATED IN MARKHAM, ONTARIO
The Regional Municipality of York Police Services Board (the “Board”) would like to thank all Respondents who submitted a response to the Prequalification of Contractors.
As per Section 2.3 Stage III - Ranking and Selection of the Request for Prequalification document:
Based on the evaluation of the responses, the top ten (10) ranked respondents that meet the Minimum Threshold(s) set out in the Evaluation Matrix contained in Section E of the RFPQ Particulars (Appendix A) will be short-listed to participate in Step 2 of the procurement process.”
In the event that two or more respondents are tied for the tenth ranked position, all respondents tied for that position will be short-listed.
In the event that less than three (3) respondents meet the Minimum Threshold(s), the Board shall have the right to prequalify additional respondents that did not meet the Minimum Threshold(s) so that the Board has a minimum of three (3) selected respondents. Should the Board exercise its right to prequalify additional respondent(s), the respondent(s) with the highest total score(s) from the group of those that did not meet the Minimum Threshold(s) may, at the Board’s sole discretion, be selected or, alternatively, the Board may invite submissions from additional contractors.
Two Respondents have been qualified under this Request for Prequalification process and will be invited to participate in a Request for Tender process:
- Brook Restoration Ltd.
- ONIT Construction Inc.
As less than three respondents meet the minimum threshold, the Board will be releasing a supplementary Request for Prequalification PQ-23-43 to augment the contractors noted above.
Brook Restoration Ltd. and ONIT Construction Inc. will not need to resubmit a response for PQ-23-43, as they are already prequalified. All contractors successfully prequalified under either PQ-23-18 or PQ-23-43 shall be deemed prequalified.
The Board recognizes and appreciates the effort required by all Respondents. We would like to thank you for your submission and patience during the evaluation process.
Sincerely,
Cam Menna, Procurement Analyst
York Regional Police
